Suttonly Lit was birthed just a few short weeks after I gave birth to my first child. I had been dreaming about creating candles for a long time. My mom is the reason I love candles. Growing up, she loved to make our home smell amazing and look great, and her obsession rubbed off on me. 


I am a northern girl that currently lives in Atlanta. In 2017, a close friend and I decided to pack a U-Haul, leave Philadelphia, and try out Atlanta for a change of scenery. Little did we know what was in store for us. Since then, I have traveled, managed two very busy restaurants, met my amazing husband and became a mother of an awesome baby boy.  Despite what life threw at me, no matter the situation, there was always a candle there, lit and ready to comfort my mood.

 

The year 2020 changed the game for so many, and I was no exception. I was furloughed from my job with a new baby looking up to me, and I wasn't sure what was next for us. But a fire had been lit. I knew it was time for me to take the leap and pour my heart and soul into my small business dream. Now, I am blessed and grateful that my dream is a reality. 

 

Here at Suttonly Lit each candle is hand-poured for you with pure LOVE and INTENTION. All natural fragrance oils are blended with soy wax to make candles that honor life’s purest moments—love, joy, challenge, loss, heartbreak, parenthood, sisterhood—we’re here for all of it. Suttonly Lit candles remind you to take a deep breath, keep going, and keep growing.
